What is Ayurvedic Massage?

Ayurveda is one of the worlds´ oldest holistic (whole-body) healing systems. It developed thousands of years ago in India. An Ayurvedic massage treats the whole body through touch: physically, mentally and emotionally.

In Ayurveda only essential oils are used that are chosen to suit your dosha (your own unique mind and body principal, there are 3 of them: vata, pitta and kapha). The massage techniques used include tapping, kneading and squeezing as well as the more traditional massage strokes you would expect.

The style and flow of the massage is determined by who you are and what your body needs for balance and wellbeing at the time. Granada Spirit offers Ayurvedic Massage to her members only.
